Crazy Cat Lady Club - Rescuing Kitties MY way

June 25th, 2007 · 2 Comments

Announcing the formation of the Crazy Cat Lady Club. What this means, I don’t know…yet. But you can post here, in the comment section, your support for all of us Crazy Cat Ladies in the world.

Personally, I can’t keep writing about cats on new posts every other day, because it’s driving down the art side of my blog and that is how I pay the bills for cat rescuing. I’d love to talk about kitties all the time, but I need to consolidate it for the sake of my art business. So here we are….

As I said, I don’t know exactly what this means, yet. I’ve been calling myself the Crazy Cat Lady for several years now, and that name has more than one irony in it for me.

I have found that other people who like to use this name don’t have much respect for feral cat rescue. [ Read MORE... ]

This Is My Birthday Song…

June 19th, 2007 · No Comments

Frosty the feral kitten caricature

I thought to myself that I should bury the poor little thing. So I moved him to a paving stone while I finished my chores.

As I picked him up, though, I thought I detected a tiny movement of a paw. It could have just been my own [ Read MORE... ]

Feral Cat Lucy Cartoon, She’s Losing It!

June 10th, 2007 · No Comments

Lucy is another of the feral kittens that I rescued last year. She’s growing into a very nice cat, if a bit high-strung. But, we all love Lucy! BTW, here is a cartoon-caricature of her:

Lucy.. named for being mostly black and white - please help her by getting a feral cat tee shirt
Get a Lucy ‘I’m Losing It!’ T-shirt for $9.99

Oh, how did she get to be called Lucy, you ask? Well.. because she’s mostly black and white…like the TV show, I Love Lucy. Yeah, it’s stupid, but when you are rescuing feral cats too, then you can be more brilliant.
