A summer storm sunset, only at this time of year does the sun line up along the edges of Haystack Rock like the monolith in 2001 A Space Odyssey.

Rendered in my own abstract impressionist style, the elements of realism are strong yet the abstractions, particularly of the beach rocks, play with your mind. It was the kind of sunset I’ve been looking for… for a long time.
